Cirkulær Outdoor - second hand outdoor clothing in Lofoten

We are so happy to expand our second hand universe by the launch of Cirkulær Outdoor in beautiful Nusfjord in Lofoten! Finally, it will be easier to buy and sell second hand outdoor clothing. This summer we will open a pop-up shop in Nusfjord in Lofoten.

We have collected second hand outdoor clothes and accessories in Oslo. We will bring everything to Lofoten this summer! It is also possible to sell your outdoor clothes through us, as we are open for drop-in deliveries in our pop-up shop in Nusfjord. A perfect opportunity to earn a little extra on nice garments you have lying around in the closet.

In this blog we will show what you can expect to buy and sell at Cirkulær Outdoor. Together, we will make second hand the first choice (now also for outdoor clothes)<3

We focus on well-known brands within the outdoor segment. Let's go through the various categories, to give a picture of what we are looking for. Remember that these are examples of brands that give an indication of the price range and quality we are looking for.

Jackets

Shell jackets, softshell and other lightweight materials.

Typical brands we want to take in are Arc'teryx, Patagonia, Peak Performance, Norrøna, Bergans, The North Face, Houdini and Johaug

Other technical uppers

Fleece, down and other uppers and middle layers are necessary (and trendy) garments that must be included.

Hiking pants, shorts and knickers

The Norwegian summer mountains can offer anything from snow to twenty-five degrees plus, so the right bottom can be anything from hiking pants to short shorts for the hottest days.

Shoes

The rucksack is a must! We are especially looking for bags for day trips, typically 15-40 litres.

Sporty sunglasses with polarized lenses, or "Raske briller" as we say in Norwegian

10 tips for which clothes to sell at Cirkulær this summer

Summer is finally here! These are our best tips for which clothes to sell at Cirkulær this summer.

Linen clothes

We want loose linen trousers, linen shorts, linen skirts, linen dresses and linen shirts. Perfect for the hottest days! Preferably from brands such as ARKET, Filippa K, BikBok, &Other Stories, H&M, ella&Il, Part Two and Zara. Remember a good linen wash before handing in!

Sandals

Sandals are a must in summer. We want tall and low ones in many different colours, and preferably in leather. Brown and black are what are in most demand, but we are no strangers to a bit of color too. Examples of brands we want in the stores are Toteme, ATP, Vagabond, COS, Mango, Arket, &Other Stories, Gant, Zara and Alohas.

Dresses

We would like to bring in many more beautiful dresses for all summer occasions. Surely nothing is better than arriving at a wedding, party or just on the beach with a dress bought second hand? Examples of brands we would like to include are ByTimo, Rotate, Mango, Pia Tjelta, Adoore, COS, Arket, Camilla Pihl, &Other Stories, NORR, Zara and Ganni.

Ballerinas and loafers

They are classic, can be used for everything and last season after season. We want ballerinas in all the colors of the rainbow, preferably also metallic. Loafers are in a way ballerina's big brother and give more edge to the outfit and when they are made in good quality leather they can last a lifetime. Examples of brands are Vagabond, COS, Mango, Arket, &Other Stories, Gant, Zara, ATP and Alohas.

Sunglasses

The first outdoor beer "utepils" of the year. Barbecue in the park. Swimming at Sørenga. The sun is hot, and then we need sunglasses. For example from Celine, Gucci, Prada, RayBan, Chimi, Miu Miu, or the cheap sunglasses you bought at Zalando but never used.

Denim

“Denim on denim on denim on denim. Give you high fashion in a simple white tee" - Beyonce. Just listen and learn. Find all the denim you have and bring it in. Shirts, jackets, dresses, skirts and jeans - but wait to hand in the skinny jeans, they still sell poorly even though there are rumors of a comeback in the fashion scene before too long.

Bags

Bags that can be used for work, city trips or parties from e.g. ATP, Hvisk, Acne, Little Liffner, Decadent and Coccinelle. In addition, we will also have bags that can be used on the way to the beach. Be it straw bags or large crossbody bags.

Knitted jumpers and cardigans in wool, cashmere or mohair

For the long summer evenings, we need knitted sweaters and cardigans from e.g. Kashmina, Samsøe Samsøe, Pierre Robert and COS.

Sneakers

We still really fancy Adidas Gazelle, Adidas Samba, Adidas Spezial and Adidas Superstar - and they sell so well. They've been in fashion for a while, but these classics aren't going away anytime soon. We are also looking for sneakers from New Balance, Veja, Eytys and Axel Arigato.

Summer jackets

Now we want denim jackets, trench coats, blazers and other summer jackets from e.g. Toteme, Gestuz, COS, Arket, &Other Stories, Samsøe Samsøe, Acne and Ganni.
